The September 2026 Degusta Box has landed, and I think it is the best one yet. It even got the nod of approval from his royal grumpiness, and that is unheard of!
What is Degusta Box?
If you haven’t come across it before, Degusta Box is a monthly subscription box with 10-15 food and drink items. It is a discovery box that lets you sample new products from well-known brands and smaller niche companies.
I always like the fact that you never quite know what you’re going to get in a Degusta Box. I have discovered a few products that I otherwise wouldn’t have bought which have now become shopping staples.
The September Degusta Box costs £12.99, including delivery, and contains a selection of full-size food and drink products to try. So, without further ado let’s check out whats in the box

The first item I picked out of the box was this Homepride Marry Me Chicken Pasta Bake sauce. Please forgive the dodgy photography on this one, I know its a bit blurry. I have been wondering why everyone was raving about this marry me chicken recipe and now I might finally find out!
I’m always a fan of quick, easy midweek meals and this will be perfect. Just add pasta, chicken and a sprinkle of grated cheese and it will be ready in an hour. Hassle free cooking which is the way I like it!

Fruit Bowl Peeler’s Strawberry are a fun fruity treat that’s sure to appeal to both kids and adults. The pack contains five individually portioned 10g sticks, with a delicious strawberry flavour and the added appeal of being made with real fruit. They’re a handy little snack for lunchboxes, days out or simply when you fancy something sweet without reaching for a full-sized chocolate bar.
At less than 100 calories each and counting as one of your five a day these look like the sort of treat that would disappear pretty quickly in our house!

The next product in this unboxing is a classic pantry staple – breadcrumbs. Paxo’s Golden Breadcrumbs are one of those products that are so versatile they make a great addition to any food cupboard. They may not be sexy but they make up for it in taste.
Although I class myself a reasonable cook, making breadcrumbs has always been a mysterious process to me. Do I grate bread? Crumble it? Save the crumbs at the end of loaf? When I was young my mom used to make hers using an attachment on her Kenwood mixer. As I do not have one of these magical implements I guess I will just have to buy readymade breadcrumbs. And these look quality.

Maggi Products are a staple of Degusta Boxes so much so that I now have a nice stash. In this months box there is either the Teriyaki Noodles with Chicken or the Mushroom Risotto with Chicken. My box had the teriyaki noodles which I’m grateful for as I’m not so keen on mushrooms.
These are a super quick and tasty snack and are ready in two minutes. There are six different products in the range, and I can definitely see these becoming a quick lunch. And as an added bonus these are high in protein so will keep you fuller for longer.

The next itemout of the box or should I say the next 3 itrems are more noodles this time Ko-Lee’s Thai Curry instant noodles. These convenient packs, available in popular Thai Red, Green, and Massaman curry flavours, promise an authentic taste experience in minutes. Each flavour aims to capture the essence of Thai cuisine, featuring key ingredients like lemongrass, galangal, and kaffir lime leaves.
What sets these apart from some other instant noodle brands is their commitment to texture. The noodles themselves are made using rice bran oil, which is intended to give them a lighter feel and a smooth texture. The spice levels vary across the range, with the Thai Red Curry offering a notable kick, while the Massaman and Green Curry options are generally milder.

After the scorching summer we have had I always make sre to keep some ice cold refreshing drinks in the fridge. These cans of VOSS Lime Mint Sparkling Water have joined the lineup and will be a regular buy for us fromnow on.
Taste-wise, this flavour hit the spot for me. The combination of zesty lime and subtle mint gives off major mojito vibes, but without any of the heavy sweetness. Because it’s completely sugar-free with zero calories, it’s exceptionally light, crisp, and refreshing. It makes a brilliant palate cleanser between treats, though it would be lovely poured over plenty of ice with a fresh sprig of mint.
VOSS Lime Mint Sparkling Water retails at £1.59
Pulling a packet of Barratts Flumps out of the box immediately brought back a wave of nostalgia. There’s something so classic about these soft, twisted marshmallow ropes, they take me straight back to childhood pocket-money treats. Seeing a nostalgic staple like this nestled alongside the newer food trends in the box was a fun little surprise.
They’re just as light, fluffy, and sweet as I remembered. The vanilla flavor is simple and comforting, and they have that signature melt-in-your-mouth texture that makes them far too easy to finish in one sitting. It’s a delightful, guilt-free sweet hit when you just want a quick bite of something sugary.
Barratts Flumps retail at £1.50
Finding a box of these new Jacob’s Bites with Sea Salt & Malt Vinegar was an absolute win for my savoury snack cravings. I’m always on the hunt for something crisp to nibble on during a afternoon tea break, and since these are oven-baked, they feel like a slightly lighter alternative to standard crisps while still delivering that satisfying crunch.
The Sea Salt & Malt Vinegar flavour really hits the mark, it has that sharp, lip-smacking tang that vinegar fans love, balanced out by just enough saltiness. The bite-sized cracker texture holds up brilliantly, giving you a proper crispness without feeling greasy. They’re dangerously moreish, whether eaten straight out of the box or set out in a bowl for snacking.
Jacobs Bites with Sea Salt & Malt Vinegar retail at £2.00
I spent ages trying to put my finger on what this Rubicon Sparkling Cherry Burst reminded me of. I usually associate Rubicon with tropical hits like passion fruit or mango, so trying a proper cherry-flavoured fizzy drink from them felt like a fun twist on an old favorite.
It definitely delivers on the flavour front. Made with real fruit juice, it has a rich, deep cherry taste that avoids that artificial “medicinal” taste some cherry drinks end up with. The fizz is lively, making it ultra-refreshing when served ice-cold. It’s a sweet, bold treat that went down a bit too easily. Oh and I finally remember what it reminded me of, Cherry Tunes but not in a bad way!
Rubicon Sparkling Cherry Burst retails at £1.29
Mentos are another brand that appears regularly in Degustabox but I am certainly not complaining about it as I am a huge Mentos fan.
These are the new Mentos Feeling Berry Good .The fruity punch hits right away with that signature crisp outer shell leading into a soft, chewy centre. A brilliant bonus is that these are completely vegan-friendly, so everyone can enjoy them. They’re sweet, tangy, and dangerously easy to pop one after another while on the go.

Last but definitely not least. Spotting this Aero Milkybar crossover in the box was easily one of the highlights of this month’s unboxing. Bringing together two absolute classics into one bar felt like a match made in sweet-tooth heaven, and I couldn’t wait to break off a chunk.
It completely lives up to the hype, you get that rich, creamy white chocolate taste of Milkybar combined with that light, airy texture Aero is famous for. As the bubbly centre melts, you get all that nostalgic vanilla-milk flavour without it feeling overly heavy. It’s an absolute triumph of a collaboration and definitely won’t last long in my cupboard.

Overall Opinion of September 2026 Degusta Box
it is not often that I open a Degustabox and genuinely like every single product but this time I really do. There are some great new discoveries in this months box and I know that at least three of the producrs I will buy again and I haven’t even tried them all yet!
I imagine that if you don’t have a sweet tooth this box may not be ideal for you as it is very much geared up for sweet lovers. Yet thats part of the fun of Degusta Box in that some months will be perfect others not so much.
Value for Money
Adding up the RRPs for all the products comes to £23.97 making it excellent value for money. The good thing about this months box is that these are all reasonably priced items making them accessible purchases for most people.
